OverTheWire: Level Goal

 

Hint

 

The goal of this level is for you to log into the game using SSH. The host to which you need to connect is bandit.labs.overthewire.org, on port 2220. The username is bandit0 and the password is bandit0. Once logged in, go to the Level 1 page to find out how to beat Level 1.

 

level0의 목표는 SSH를 이용하여 게임에 로그인하는 것입니다.

host : bandit.labs.overthewire.org / port : 2220

해당 호스트의 포트로 접속하세요. bandit0의 비밀번호는 bandit0 입니다. 로그인을 하고 나면,

level1 페이지를 찾아가 level1을 클리어하세요.

 

 

 

문제 풀이

 

1. ssh를 실행하여(맥 기준) bandit0 계정으로 bandit.labs.overthewire.org 호스트의 2220 포트에 접속 → bandit0의 비밀번호 입력 → 접속 성공

맥 OS에서의 ssh 실행(윈도우는 원격 접속 프로그램을 통한 접속)

    * 보기만 해도 긴(bandit.labs.overthewire.org) 호스트를 입력하기 귀찮아서 현재는 환경변수를 통해 호스트 이름을 변경하여 사용하고 있다.

 

2. 현재 디렉터리에 어떤 파일들이 있는지 확인 → readme 파일 읽기 → bandit1의 비밀번호 확인
